Review on 🏕️ Upgraded Carefree 901015 Black RV Awning Replacement Lift Handle for Hassle-free Travel by Rudolph Mceachern

The first pen I received was defective. The locking pin was missing. Sent back and ordered again. The grip change was correct. This pen replaces Spirit, Spirit FX, Fiesta and Simplicity plus. Drilled out 2 rivets with a 1/8" bit. New handle did not fit properly in the existing hole. Upon close inspection there is a small pour line on the bottom tab. and fits perfectly. A new 3/16 hole drilled and installed a new rivet As mentioned in one of the other reviews The locking pin is not in the same position as the original (pre 1997) In the closed position you will need to move the mounting bracket to the camper body or as I thought drill a new 3/8 hole in ...where the locking pin snaps in to close.They're significantly cheaper than Carefree's so they're probably seconds from the manufacturer.But with a little effort, mine works just fine.
