PETG is a great material!

PETG is a great material! It took a while to really look good, but once I figured out a few things. everything else turned out to be. I am using Robo3D R1+ with E3Dv6 hotend. * Yes, it prints better with a heated bed and MUCH better than ABS in my opinion. I like 70°C for a bed* YES, the warping is MUCH less than ABS and even PLA (in my opinion)* Yes, it will stretch a little tighter until you reach the right temperature.* Yes, it's stronger than PLA. What have I learned. It seems that printing (for me) is better without a fan. Start at the recommended height and keep lowering it until you get good results. PETG appears to have a "matte" color when the temperature is below the optimum. Once I get the right temperature (for me) it starts to shine a little. The difference between "dim" and "shine" appears to be about 2 degrees. I found the ideal temperature for my eSUN Black PETG is 249 degrees. the appearance of the printed product to achieve a "matt" appearance or gloss depending on the temperature of the entire print job. To me, this actually preforms it like two different materials, making it more versatile. A matte looking object was just as durable as a glossy one. Black was the easiest to find the right temperature because my temperature trick works best with this color. Green does the same thing, but it's harder to see with a flashlight because of the color. .
