I've used this on 3 trips abroad. On the last trip, this product behaved very badly. I connected a battery (5000 mAh) to one of the USB ports and suddenly there was a loud bang and a spark and the power went out in my hotel room. This Bestek power converter failed and cut all power and lights in my room and the room next to it. After getting a new number thanks to the hotel reception, I tried this Bestek device again - it was dead forever. If this converter with low-power electronics, such as a USB rechargeable battery, does not work reliably, it means that the product is from worse quality is. Much to my regret, the return window closed a week ago.
