Review on 🔩 SNUG Fasteners SNG1063: 100 Pack of #6-32 x 1/4" Zinc Plated Three Prong Tee Nuts - Superior Quality and Durability by Ricky Khan

This is actual galvanized steel so they get points for it. My #6-32 screws also screwed in really well, so more points for that too. The diameter corresponds to the declared properties, as does the thickness. I noticed that in all the nuts I received the threaded hole was drilled off center in the post. It looks like there is a problem with the alignment of the machines in the factory. It's enough for me to notice with the eye, but probably not enough to make a difference on most woodworking projects (probably around 5-10k or so off center). The reason I deducted a star is because of the brand and my concern for the future. Customers not receiving nuts with the same tolerances as mine. Overall, I was very disappointed with this "SNUG FASTENERS" brand. I've received quite a few of their products for review and only four of the 12 so far have met the stated specifications for material composition and dimensional tolerances exactly! I would not trust this brand in the future. They appear to be a US based importer of cheap bulk Asian goods. They're based in Tennessee and seem to import and repackage a bunch of cheap Asian stuff without doing their own quality control. They also appear to operate under the names: BC Precision; sharpened SEIDO; fasteners BKP; VOLVE accuracy; zenization. If they show the same care and quality control for their other brands as they do for SNUG FASTENERS, I would avoid them all. Given the quality of other products I have received I would not be surprised if these fasteners vary significantly from batch to batch or if the product you may receive has completely different dimensions than what I have posted. In fact, I noticed that on another product of theirs that I reviewed, I received some nuts with the wrong thread pitch, while another reviewer appeared to receive nuts with the correct thread pitch, further confirming my concerns about significant batch variability.
