Like many Jeep JKU owners I have had experience with dented hood panels and wanted to find a product that would cover the dents and provide extra protection. The Hooke Road Hooded Bulletproof Vest exceeded my expectations.1: The product is identical to what is shown in the photos. It is black plastic with a diamond finish. Jeeps are already strong, which makes them look even cooler. 2: Installation was easy. Open the box, put them on the covers to check before installation and you will see they are the right size. Remove the tape, place them on the case, press firmly, stand back and admire how good they look.3: No additional tape required. I used the pre-installed tape and once pressed against the hood they held up to I-15, 80+ mph on the freeway and truck gusts with no problem. I've hit them multiple times with a 3000 psi pressure washer and again I had no problem loosening them. 4: No fading. The Las Vegas sun can be cruel to anything it's exposed to, and these sunscreens are still as black as they came out of the package. No UV problems. I consider this one of the best inexpensive modifications I've made to my Jeep. As a result, they work as expected and are holding up very well.
