Better than the original!

After only two hours of use of my new Dewalt sander, the original sanding pad on my new Dewalt sander melted right on the sander and its fragile plastic part was stuck next to the screws! Rather than agonize over returns or repairs, I tried this replacement gasket. So far it's been working great after a few hours of grinding! The metal back is definitely an improvement over the original plastic part.
