The few times we've used a meat thermometer it's been fast, easy to read and easy to read. The backlight is another added feature that I just love, it makes the digital display easier to read. The accuracy seems correct compared to the old thermometer regarding the cooking time of the meat. I love that it comes with an extra battery when it comes time to replace it. The probe makes it easy to store and the magnet is a plus for easy storage. It's great, I don't have to rummage through other portion drawers.
