I bought one of these mats 9 months ago for our fifth wheel RV parked near the beach in Baja, Mexico. When I first took it out of the box I had doubts about how long it would last. It was like a series of plastic straws woven together. But we really needed a mat to keep sand, dust, and fine gravel out of the RV, so I used it anyway. It has been permanently installed outside the RV for the past 9 months and has survived all manner of rainstorms, high winds, floods, dust, feral dogs and cats, baseball and a fiery hurricane of flaming firecrackers raining down. on topic.
