Fragile, about half of the batch worked
Bought these for my toddler's birthday to use with 8" x 10" canvases. About half of them wouldn't even stand on them with a platter, and the platters are very light. I would only use them for very small (maybe 3x3 inches) light canvases or boards (they might work well for displaying small biscuits if you want them to look like paintings) but no more or even a bit thick because they don't get up well.
