What can I say I needed a camera to connect to my stereo which was unlocked for the rear camera, it does the job and gives a good picture. Options I wanted one that didn't have grid lines as my stereo already has a set on screen so having this option with the ability to remove grid lines was a must for me. I also bought it because it comes with the covers assembled multiple times so they can be moved from day to better location. The ease of installation wasn't bad, like any other wired backup camera it takes a bit and it's not a difficult task, so it's no harder than any other camera. It's nature. Remember that this camera needs to be connected to a relay which is powered by your reversing lights with 12 volts as others have mentioned. When the power is on, the LEDs are on all the time. This is a $20 camera, after all. Night vision is surprisingly good for a $20 camera, but be aware that a $20 camera isn't going to win awards. lol I mean the resolution is low but so is my IQ Chevy main unit.
