The adapter works fine once installed, Bosch could probably have made it from slightly better material, but once installed it holds other rails well with no play . However, when using a separate set of Porter Cable brass guides, their outside diameter was slightly larger than the collar on the inside diameter of the Bosch adapter. So after a little polishing of the brass guides with a medium sized sandpaper the brass guides were able to slide perfectly into each other and work properly. Finally, I'm not sure if the Bosch adapter is a bit small or the brass rails I have were a little large, admittedly my brass rails are made in China, that could be the problem.
