I didn't want to spend a lot of money to mount a spare tire on my boat trailer. This fits with no problems. My only issue is that the mounts don't quite fit onto the rim. They don't have a tapered bottom like a jam nut to center them in the hole, and they don't come with a washer or anything to avoid scratching the rim. I had to put the rim on the frame because there was too much of it to fit on the side, no big deal but it will still scratch the rim if you tighten it. It works and I have washers so it's not a big deal and it keeps my spare off my boat and it's secure.
