Review on Upgrade Your Home'S Comfort: Insulated Magnetic Door Curtain With Self-Sealing Technology by Steven Adams

AC can now keep the kitchen cool!

This was a great buy for my apartment, in the kitchen area where there is no door to the hallway. Now I can finally keep the kitchen area somewhat thermally isolated, so that the cool air doesn’t get wasted by drifting down the hallway. The only real downsides for me - considering the reasonable cost - were that there was not a 32”x86” wide curtain available, which would’ve been better for my application (I have since found one by another vendor), plus brown/clear seems to be the only available color option available, at least with the 34”x82” sized one I purchased. As can be seen in the photos, I had to alter the installation somewhat, by re-routing the Velcro strips to the adjacent side walls, since my actual hall width is 34”, while the overall width of the 34” curtain is 35.5”, due to the two 3/4” velcro areas on the curtain on either side. After reinforcing the Velcro stick-on strips with the included tacks at key point into the wood trim, the installed product seems quality and secure. It is plastic and inexpensive, however, so I am treating it very gently. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of this curtain in helping to keep my kitchen cool.
