Review on πŸ”ͺ Xuron Micro-Shear Flush Cutter - Tapered Tip 410T - Precision Cutters by Cesar Danger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The required property as a "sprue cutter " is fully met.

When you didn't know exactly what to look for. the unique selling proposition of the "sprue cutter" can hardly be defined. Even a close-up of this instrument does not adequately illustrate its unique and essential physical construction. In short, 'sprue' is the residual protrusion that must be removed from a product made from a liquid-filled mold. In most cases the liquid is molten lead and removing this sprue requires a precision cutter cutting only this protrusion which is the result of the excess lead in the miniature funnel, a part of the mold used to safely pour in molten Lead is required in the form with minimal (if any) leakage. The cutter should be thin and have a rounded hole. between the cutting blades and be snug against the molding and strong enough to cut through the sprue without breaking the tool! This particular tool ticks all the right boxes, including the added benefit of being a simple wire cutter.
