These items help my outdoor cats feel comfortable. Even though I live in Arizona, the temperature here in Glendale has at times been above 30 degrees, which can be very uncomfortable for live animals. My sister from New Jersey, who I bought them for, also loves them because her strays had to endure the 20's and lots of snow. So overall I would recommend them to anyone who takes care of animals outside. They keep the temperature even at the lowest temperatures for at least 7-8 hours, after which they need to be recharged in the microwave, which only takes 5-7 minutes. That's a great idea.
