Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Mateusz Sujak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, best quality.

I drove Largus Cross through snowdrifts with U-turns where the Niva slipped back and forth in 15 minutes in some places (the rubber was also one of the best), although, for the most part, it was confident. I was not too lazy to measure the height of the snow - 21-25 cm, in some places up to 27 cm, sticky, not loose. Taking into account the far from the best parameters of Largus in terms of cross-country ability (long base, weight distribution along the axes is not in favor of the leading one) - this is very good. Before that, I used GoodYear Ultragrip 600. It also rows well in the snow, but still not like that. I also noticed that compared to the GoodYear Ultragrip 600, the steering wheel turns noticeably easier in corners.

Pros
  • Phenomenal flotation through snowdrifts. Easy handling.
Cons
  • You need to roll well. After a short trip through snowdrifts on new tires, 1 spike was lost and a few got out and was on the verge of falling off.
