This is a great product. The problems with him stem from problems with Tacoma itself. My 2018 Tacoma. I've been driving it for four years. This has taken its toll on the Tacoma bed, which is made out of plastic instead of metal. It took me a few days to figure out how to install this product. The stress of four years of driving caused difficulties installing the door locks. The lock didn't work at all. I eventually determined that the problem was the torque adjustments for the six bolts on the passenger side storage tray. If you tighten the screws for the bay and overtighten the screws, the locking tab will not engage. After much trial and error I found the correct torque settings for the screws and the lock was able to engage. The screws will affect the drawer and deform the outer edge of the product. If set correctly, the locks will work. The door still rattles, but applying sealant to the door solves this problem.
