Review on 🚪 Modern Square Matte Black Privacy Door Knob - Kwikset 97300-939 Pismo by John May

I have ordered this lock and have been able to assemble it several times in about 15 minutes. I had to assemble it several times because I was also painting my door, so I had to take it apart to paint and then reassemble it. Having never installed a lock before, it took about 30 minutes the first time because I installed the center piece incorrectly and didn't want to close the door. It was easy to figure out my mistake and the second time was much quicker. Compared to my old Schlage lock, this lock is much heavier and feels more secure. You can really feel the weight by holding the handle on either side. The lock (vertical) and unlock (horizontal) settings are also the opposite of my old Schlage lock and I can't open the door by simply turning the handle from the inside like my old Schlage lock. It takes a little getting used to, but it's more secure now that I can't accidentally open the door by turning the knob. The exterior of the castle is very modern and simple, which is exactly what I was looking for. I bought the latch from Milan to customize it visually and to have a key to open both locks. I hope to be able to easily recode both locks in the future when I rent out my property and change tenants.
