Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 195/60 R15 88T winter by Stanisaw Lipowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

Great tires for the price. Dimension 195/60/15. During the season, not a single spike fell out and did not grind off, although I did not spare the rubber. Wear on the front wheels is very minimal, rear - almost like after purchase. After conti ice contact seemed harder, the conti was much softer. From here, the grip on asphalt is slightly worse, but on the other hand, minimal wear and spikes do not fly out (the spikes on the tires fell out by 50% after the 2nd season, after the 3rd there were 6 spikes on four wheels :)))). Now about the noise. This is of course a different story. The first 50 km around the city is just a shock, an incredible noise. After 200 km in the city (not exceeding 80 km / h) they more or less subside. But not everything is so simple :) after leaving the track at a speed of 110 km / h, the noise that was immediately after the purchase is multiplied by 2, just hell. It starts to subside after 50 km on the highway, and after another 200 it returns to normal. That is, the spikes are run in 2 times. On this, the story with noise completely ends, and the tires become quiet, and no longer bother either in the city or on the highway, at any speed. Well, now the result. Is it worth taking it? Definitely yes. You just need to be patient a little, as soon as the rezya breaks in, it begins to give extremely positive impressions. Would I buy it again now? Yes, this is a great tire for the price. It is not ideal, of course, but in general it is a great option for both the city and the suburbs, where anything is under the wheels, but not asphalt. For real snowy roads, it is even more suitable than for asphalt, so I recommend it to everyone. Well balanced, Maid In 2022 does not affect the quality in any way.)

Pros
  • The price / quality ratio is on top, rowing really well on snow / ice / slush (by 5/5), on asphalt by 4/5 (more in the comments), not noisy AFTER RUN-IN.
Cons
  • Noise DURING THE BREAK-IN, not a lot of hard (I find fault).
