Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced WorkBench Third Hand System with QuadHands Deluxe - Magnetic Mount Arms for Unlimited Positioning - Unmatched Flexibility by Gary Lucas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large, heavy plate, strong magnetic attachment

The magnets are very strong, the plate is beautiful and heavy. I'm interested to see if any devices are available, like a lighted magnifying glass. The ability to twist and lock the clip on either hand is extremely useful. The flexible part of the arms doesn't adjust very precisely without some rebound, which can make it difficult to position small delicate parts or angle the corner, but it seems to come with territory. I haven't found helping hands to make it better. I'd say they're in the top 20% I've used in terms of stability and fine-tuning. It's just causing a little problem with my OCD. The protective plastic layer on the underside of the back of the hand is not correctly aligned with the back of the hand (photo). I'm not sure how they attach to the base of the arm, so I'm hesitant to take them off and reattach them in the correct position. Normally I wouldn't even comment on a product defect like this, but at such a high price point my expectations are high too.
