Very short battery life > Then throw it away!
The battery runs out in 3-4 months! Then buy a button cell battery. Find a very small screwdriver and remove the tiny screws. Wait while you try to put them back. The battery cannot be removed. Be careful not to damage the thermometer. @%%&$#^ Who is going to do all this. Forget it! Only buy the device with AA or AAA batteries! Besides, who needs a thermometer that has to be turned on to take a reading and then turned off again?
