Ideal for powering a large number of 4-pin PWM fans from a single motherboard header.
Power 8 PWM fans from one motherboard fan header with this fan hub. Not for use with 3-pin fans. Not intended for use with non-PWM motherboard fan headers. This fan hub takes 12V power from the SATA power connector and uses it to power up to 8 4-pin PWM fans. The PWM speed control cable and the tachometer sensor cable are connected to your computer's motherboard, allowing you to control the speed of all 8 fans at the same time. a plug with a groove in the plastic around it. This is unavoidable and normal. * 3-pin fans connected to this hub run at full speed all the time. * If you connect a hub to a fan connector that does not support PWM, all fans connected to it will run at full speed all the time. * Connect the hub to the 4-pin CPU fan header as many SYS fan headers don't do PWM even though they have 4 pins.
