I love these headlights, I have to because I have to have replaced about half a dozen in the last ten years. Luckily when I have a rebound off the mount they come out with a lighter version which I would probably buy anyway. I started drilling a tiny hole in the tab at the bottom of the light and hooking it up to my bike and that almost solved the problem, but I still lost one, the 100 lumen version. I now have a small screw holding it to the mount and the mount is connected to the bike. It's uncomfortable, but I don't think it's going anywhere. It doesn't seem like an insurmountable engineering challenge to design a mount that holds the light in a way that doesn't reflect it outwards!
