I bought two to use the trolling motor in the front or rear of the Pelican Bass Raider depending on my setup for the day. There was a wire clamp in one socket that broke off immediately when tightening the screw. And you need to tighten it enough or the wire will pull out of the socket easily. The other connections on that outlet and my second outlet, as well as the plug, were fine. It was just a poor quality terminal. The cheap clamp they use is slick and has no way of grabbing the wire other than tightening the pressure. I was able to fix this by changing the clamp and adding a nut from a breaker box type wire clamp. Shouldn't have but my option was to either go back and get a replacement, wait a week to get it and wonder if the new one would fall off as well. Second, the waterproof cover for the outlet doesn't fit well. It is inserted and sealed but is slightly oversized and requires a lot of pressure to insert. Maybe over time it will stick better to the hole. Aside from the cheap hardware typical of Chinese manufacturers, this is a good design and should last for years with a few hiccups.
