Review on 🐄 Rare Large Colombian Hide in a Unique Color by Angel Brown

I gave the rug 1 star because it's beautiful but oh my god it stinks TERRIBLE! NOT in a good way, like leather seats in a new car or a new leather jacket or suede boots, but in a nauseous way that gives me a headache if I spend too long in it. I put it on the covered porch at the back of the house for a week, hoping the smell would go away. A little. I'll change my rating if it helps. Even after a week, the leather was still wrinkled despite throwing it over a couple of chairs. I read in the article "How Cowhide Rugs Are Made" that quality rugs should not have wrinkles - they should be shaken out. They shouldn't smell bad either. I put it back on the porch for better ventilation, I might try baking soda which is another suggestion on the internet that shouldn't hurt the carpet. Have the carpets been hit by a hurricane and gotten wet? What the hell!
