I liked the idea of this wand and actually I just like that it curls my hair, but I found that if you curl each strand of hair individually, the wand becomes tightly wrapped (which is how I did it on my previous stick) doesn't work well in general. The curls are very tight and difficult to remove from the iron. It burned 1 my hair, 2 my fingers, 3 my ear, 4. I even burned some of my hair because it was so stuck to those sharp edges! So the TRICK I found is to take a large section of hair (I divide mine by 6) and FREE wrap the section around the wand. This results in a much more natural looking curl and can be shaken up to give it a beachy look. So, first impression, I hated it. Second, with a little more engineering, this could be a great wand. The curls really last for days! I can frizz after shower and walk 3 days before my next scheduled shampoo. Great product if you know how to use it!
