These are great little LED lights. Like many people, I have purchased many of those similarly sized 9-LED lights for a few dollars each. They work fine for a while, but then fail. I decided that after having and then throwing away 6 or 7 of those over a few years that I was done with that. Let's face it - when you need a flashlight, it has to turn on! That's really the number one thing you need in a flashlight - after that comes brightness, etc.Well I don't have much time with these new lights, but the build quality is much better than those cheap 9-LED lights. Feels more solid in the hand, the battery holder and the contacts inside the light are totally different than the cheap lights and I believe will give much better service. I don't necessarily like the 3 modes - Full, low, and flashing. I would really just like one mode - Full, but it's just a push of the button to switch the modes, so it's no big deal.The light has a single LED and seems as bright or brighter than the 9-LED lights and you can focus the beam as well.I got the 4 pack because I now have one in my shop, one in the barn, and one in the garage (and one for a spare).
