Review on πŸ”₯ EBC Brakes Yellowstuff DP41988R Street and Track Brake Pad: A High-Performance Solution by Shah Jones

Revainrating 1 out of 5

If you're into autocross I'm sure you're fine but you're driving a heavy car (S4) and you're pushing.

Although marketed as a "track pad" it doesn't stand up to rough handling. If you're into autocross I'm sure you're fine, but driving a heavy car (S4) and pushing it on a hard braking course (Laguna Seca, even Thunderhill) isn't going to make you a good day. I had these front and back and wore off about half the front in one day. The rear pads overheated and crystallized and literally fell apart during my typical Highway 101 drive. 70% of the life changed from metal to metal in 10 minutes giving me 3 months life on these pads after a weekend. I would recommend a real trackpad, use Carbotech XP or Raybestos.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say
