This is the correct hanger for the 1996 to present Jeep Cherokee that I mentioned in the Walker Dynamax exhaust report of 17340. I put the two bolts through two 3/8-16 x 1 1/2 jacks replaced screws inch. They are available from Lowe's for $1.15 each. You need to enlarge the size of the hole and weld them on or reshape the hole to fit the screw head. It is easy to make as the metal is soft. Elevator screws have a flat head and are not domed like carriage bolts. Either welding or reshaping the hole will hold the studs in place when the hanger is attached to the body.
