Review on NOCO GC002 Eyelet Terminal Connector by Jeremy Gums

I bought a NOCO Genius GC002 connector for a portable solar panel project for my caravan. I like the well made eyelet terminals for the battery as well as the built in fuse holder. I installed an SAE panel flange connector on top of the battery box, cut off the factory NOCO connector and soldered the two wires together with solder butt connectors. Now I can connect the trailer wires along with the solar connector when the battery is installed and attach the cover. No more removing the cover to connect the cheap alligator clips that come with most portable solar panels. If I had to rebuild I would order XL tabs as I had to drill larger holes in the existing ones to fit the battery post studs. The total cost of the project was less than $20 to have a handy plug to plug into my solar panel, not to mention other 12V products that I can now easily plug directly into my battery for charging or to use a small air compressor or inverter.
