Review on 💪 Enhanced Performance with Gates 21953 Premium Molded Coolant Hose by Timothy Gonzalez

This part number cross references Dayco 70443 which is the upper radiator hose for the 20" radiator in all 289 and 68 -Cougars/Mustangs trades . -Small blocky '69 cars with no air conditioning. I emailed Gates and they said they don't have an exact replacement for the OE part and you need to tailor it for this application. Not only is the overall length too long, but the centerline spacing is off by a few inches. The image shows the Gates own branded version of the product (exactly the same part) compared to Dayco 70443. The difference is clear. This part is probably good when used correctly, but to say it can be used in the applications I've listed is an extreme exaggeration. Better to use a flexible hose if the Dayco part is not available.
