Nice Notebooks in my review

My husband is experienced with both oil and acrylic paints, but is just starting to dip his toes into watercolor. A keen student, he's been watching YouTube tutorials to get the basics down. One of his favorite watercolorists, James Gurney, paints in small notebook style pads, so naturally my husband was thrilled to have something similar for his own work. Unlike a traditional paper covered pad, these are more like small bound books and make for a more polished way to keep a record of ones art. The paper is thick and absorbent, perfect for watercolors. A very nice pair of small pads.
