I think they should be in every curtain set, not the pointless ones that require you to poke holes in the bottom. Also, it keeps your door level better than a small notch on the bottom. I took the 2x6 and pushed it down (mounted on a baseboard in a carpeted room) to make sure I got it to the right depth. The only improvement I saw was when you had to adjust the internal screw further towards the wall. This wasn't a problem for me but just make sure you have thicker baseboards than usual to test this out before looking at how far you can hang your door. I only used 1 with our bathroom door. On the side of the baseboard where the door opens. It stays all the time. I will buy more of these as I hang more of these doors.
