Review on Enhancing 3D Printing with Premium PLA Filament Additive Manufacturing Products by Kenny Sarma

Revainrating 1 out of 5

One of the worst filaments I've tried,

Good things first, the yarn has been vacuum packed and includes a ziplock bag for storing the yarn when not in use. Now for the bad: it doesn't feed well into the printer (when another 1.75mm filament feeds well), the prints were very faint - the bottom layer didn't stick well to the plate and the individual layers didn't stick well to each other. Finished prints are very flimsy - taking them apart is a breeze. Details. Although the filament has a slight sheen, the finished prints are flat and non-glossy. Finished prints are flimsy and tear/break easily when pressure is applied. While I haven't had any deadlocks with this thread, I won't be reaching for it anytime soon and using other (sometimes cheaper) threads that I've found work better.

Pros
  • PLA is a thermoplastic made from renewable resources like corn starch, tapioca roots, or sugar cane. It is one of the most environmentally friendly yarns on the market.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
