Review on πŸ–¨οΈ High-Quality Assorted 1.75mm Printer Filament by AmazonBasics: Essential 3D Printing Supplies by Alfredo Testerman

All filaments work great once you find their sweet spot for nozzle and layer temperature :)

works. Once you understand this for a specific thread (any brand or even batch) it will work. Make sure your z-compensation is at the same level as ideal temperatures with poor z-compensation will result in your first layer never sticking. I was able to hold all the threads I tested in the pack with no issues (sometimes too well, but better than the alternative) and no stretching. Because not all printers are 100% equal, you may need to adjust settings below the hairline for optimal performance. If you hear the extruder clicking (meaning it can't push the filament through the nozzle because it's not soft enough), try increasing the nozzle temperature by 1-5 degrees until the noise stops. The secret to no voltage is to set it as low as possible where your extruder won't work. This is true for the CR-10S Pro V2 at least, I'm not sure if this is true for others as this is the only printer I have :) Here are the settings I found for my setup: - Creality CR-10S Pro v2 (firmware version 1.70.1) - Cura 4.6.0 - Z Comp: 2.30 (adjustable via LCD at print start and during alignment) - Cura - default settings for Cura PLA, except for the following changes for colors - Default settings for Cura printers (Creality CR10S Pro since no V2) at "Default Quality - 0.2mm" (enable support as needed) - Regular Colors (e.g. Brown) - Nozzle Temp: 205Β°C - Bed Temp: 60 Β°C - Neon colors (e.g. neon orange) - Nozzle temperature: 210 C - Bed temperature: 65 C - NOTE. Neon colors look a little dark when printed and only return to their original neon color after cooling. I haven't gotten to glow or go 2 more translucent, but I'll update my review once I get to temperatures that I've found to work well.
