Good USB-C hub

Decent quality USB-C hub. I got two similar splitters from the same company, this one was a dual HDMI splitter (the other one was HDMI/VGA) and they both worked right away. I've used it for a couple of briefings and hooked it up to two external monitors at home and got good results at a reasonable price. This item does what it's advertised to do so no real complaints and I would recommend it to colleagues if they need something similar. I've only had two issues, which are in no way stoppers: the plugin you use first - the screens switch. It's a windows/display tweak of sorts - but I've found that when I restart my laptop the screen sometimes toggles for unknown reasons - not a thing, I can tweak the display settings or just swap out cables - but it's a weird hiccup; and 2) the colors and intensity of the screen appear to change from time to time. For some reason the ebb and flow of contrast with one screen or another becomes brighter, sharper, or slightly different in color/tint. Again only occasionally and gradually, so really only noticeable if you step back for a moment. When using only one HDMI port, I don't notice any of these changes, and I didn't notice it on the other splitter. .again not a showstopper.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • No performance
