Easy to install, strong, durable. Saved me in a compromised (sleeping, unarmed) position.
I just installed this after moving into a new room had pulled out without knowing who the previous occupant was or if someone else had the key. In fact, someone had the key and tried to get in in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. Good thing I wasn't armed at the time. I didn't heard the doorknob being closed and turned (probably in the sleep state) but I heard the chain! It made all kinds of thugs. It turned out to be a misunderstanding and the next day I changed the lock on the door but it turned out to be much easier and quicker to install.
- RUGGED CONSTRUCTION. This guard is made from pressed brass with a brushed nickel finish and comes with a 6" long 8 link welded steel chain. It's strong and durable and sure to last a long time.
