Will prevent the child from flying.

To be honest we only bought them to keep our baby with ASD at home. Each of us has forgotten the door and pulled it shut, but it holds tight and does not ripen either from the wall or from the door. Our toddler stood and pulled, yanked, kept pushing, really trying everything to make sure each door opened without getting damaged or loosened. It will definitely slow down if not stop the attacker, but I'm sure if anyone wants it they can bypass it. Does what we need, the chains are long enough and

The part that went to the door fitted perfectly. So,

I bought this to replace the old ugly brass and was hoping the holes would line up so I wouldn't have to drill new ones. The part that went to the door fitted perfectly. So cheers! The chain section was much shorter than the old one's chain. I should have measured before installing this part. It fits down after moving this part of the device, but barely. So if you have a guard that you are replacing, be aware of that. Otherwise it goes perfectly with the gear we replaced a few years ago and I'm

Easy to install, strong, durable. Saved me in a compromised (sleeping, unarmed) position.

I just installed this after moving into a new room had pulled out without knowing who the previous occupant was or if someone else had the key. In fact, someone had the key and tried to get in in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. Good thing I wasn't armed at the time. I didn't heard the doorknob being closed and turned (probably in the sleep state) but I heard the chain! It made all kinds of thugs.
