Virtually useless due to poor design. The 4 pin connector is very loose and for the sound to appear I had to press the connector but again it started popping and clapping. To circumvent this faulty component, I cut the 4-pin connector off my speakers to use the left and right connectors instead, but they didn't work at all! I hooked up tons of speaker wire so I didn't "do it wrong", those connectors just didn't receive a signal. I've re-stripped my wires, re-wired them many times, even tried touching the screws directly and even the solder points; nothing works. So not only did I spend $15 on it, I also spent $15 on my speakers, which I unnecessarily destroyed the terminal of. Thank you Adafrut. Your product is worse than a toy.
