I am very happy with my new Dell S2240M monitor. It was reasonably priced, had amazing resolution, image color quality, etc. However, I was initially disappointed. Dell could be better in this area. Like many new electronic products, it doesn't come with a printed manual. This means that you must first install the CD to get the information you want. That means it's kind of a find out for yourself attitude. AND IF there is a problem, first or in the future, you're screwed if you can't read the manual from another computer and monitor. I also went online to the Dell website. There, the registration process kept asking me for their service tag code number. At first I suspected it might be a "third party" monitor even though it's sold by Revain. We have found that smaller monitors do not need to be registered and are still covered by the 3 year warranty. There is also no registration form. Dell CAN clear this up from the start. VERY bad PR for the company. They state on their website that they must keep the purchase documents (proof of purchase) in the event of a warranty claim
