Easy install, rich features and great price

I replaced an old backup camera I had in my trailer with these cameras. The problem we've had in the past is that we could either point the camera downwards or backwards, and we really needed both. The installation went with a bang. All the necessary equipment was in the box, there were a lot of cables and plugs. The picture is nice, night vision works well, although there is a strange halo effect with night vision. I haven't tested it long enough to figure out what it is, but I've seen similar images on other night vision cameras. I had a small problem, which is that in a particular view I wanted the camera in, the anchor points held the camera in place, which was covered by a mount (see image). This can be addressed by the manufacturer by making the holes on either side of the bracket asymmetrical. When you are in this position, this ensures that both sides are not covered. I repositioned the center anchor points to fix this issue. Another recommendation is to include screws that can be tightened by hand or with an Allen key. I wanted to put these cameras a little closer together, but I needed room to attach them to the mount with a screwdriver. Wiring. This does not apply to this product. They use 14 gauge or 16 gauge wire in two strands and there is a lot of wire. I really appreciate having enough hardware to be able to install them easily. I also tested the write function. You may need to go into settings and format the SD card that came with it. The recording function is another addition that makes this system feature rich at a great price. I'm very happy with the recording options. It just works. Also, the support team was incredibly friendly and helped me get a suction cup mount shipped to me. I would really like to find a Dodge Ram three blade mirror mount for this so I can easily convert the monitor to a rear view mirror. I would pay extra for that. One small thing I would change is the pairing button. I would hang it from the bottom of the camera instead of the cord. I'm not sure why it was made that way, and it looks like it's just asking for water to go into that switch. I'll end up adding a waterproof case to it. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
