Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Utopia Kitchen Chef Knife - 8 Inches Carbon Stainless Steel Cooking Knife with Sheath and Ergonomic Handle - Premium Chopping Knife for Professional Use by Anna Lang

Holds a strong edge and has a GREAT grip, but it breaks and rusts.

For me there are a few basic criteria for a knife to be effective. A knife should have these qualities, and the Utopia Chef's Kitchen Knife has all but a couple: / Sharpened - Long-lasting cutting edge (about 2 weeks of daily cutting on a wooden board) - Sturdy, does not give the slightest hint of bending - Ergonomic handle for different hand sizes (wife has tiny hands and I have quite wide, big hands, and it works well for both of us) does NOT have these characteristics: - Chipped came and the chip got worse; This is particularly bad because one of the chips is also in the foreground. It rusts easily: I've hardly exposed it to water; I also always hand dry my knives after use, but it still had a few spots where it was chipped and rusted. Being stainless steel it shouldn't do this at all, but it does on shavings.

Pros
  • Easy set
Cons
  • Weak set
