It takes patience but it works
I used this as a base to decorate my grandson's christening costume. After reading a few reviews I was a little concerned that this would be different than the junk canvas I used years ago. It's still the same. It takes patience to pull the strings when the job is done, but it's not difficult and, as another reviewer said, very enjoyable. In the days when I worked more with scrap paper, I often dampened the work to pull out the threads, but this time I tried dry and had no problems. The only tricky part was working on white recycled canvas over white jersey. It was very difficult to see the holes - but it could be my eyes :)
