The installation of this product may be a little difficult. Sometimes it takes a few tries to keep it in place when closing the door. I traveled with him and was satisfied with his way of working. I felt more secure when this was added to the latch and hinge block already fitted to the door. Also works at home. Easy to remove. Some reviews say the chain is weak and breaks. I don't, but to be honest I don't think chaining has anything to do with security once you understand how a lock works. Just seems like the two parts of the lock fit together comfortably. I can see how it can break if you aren't careful and it will get stuck on closing the door before you insert the red piece. I just don't think it's part of the "lock" mechanism. I might be wrong. I am personally happy with this purchase and will use it at home and when traveling.
