I'm not an idiot! for cutlery and knife accessories

I have been cooking for 50 years (left-handed) and only recently discovered that paring knives are specially sharpened for the right hand! I tried cutting the marinade with a new knife and made a mess. Unable to believe I had suddenly forgotten basic kitchen skills, I examined my knife and was surprised to find another item destined to make life miserable for the elite 10% of the population. It was a cheap knife, so it gave me more trouble than my other right-handed knives. I ordered this left hand paring knife and was blown away by how easy it is now to slice and dice just about anything. I would definitely recommend all left handed people to buy this knife.
