The tool is quite effective and didn't cause any problems once I figured out how to use it. The instructions are very poor and can benefit from what the person writing them is trying to use based on brief instructions. Of course this can be simplified with pictures or drawings describing how CV joints are made for those who need more guidance. The specification must be given with the maximum applicable pressure. BUT overall this is a GREAT tool that every mechanic or toolmaker should have in their box ONLY ON THE OCCASIONAL OPPORTUNITY! Another review states that they are dissatisfied with the "set" of Dorman boots and I would suggest that it is better to get properly fitted boots from Arizona or another supplier.
