So that the old helmet feels like new again.
This replacement headgear transformed an old welding helmet I used to hold while welding into a nice, comfortable helmet. Installation took about 15 minutes (including removing old parts from the helmet). I have an old helmet that I want to install another one in. I have a new helmet which I use most of the time but of course it's nice to have a spare helmet - it works. It is a lot cheaper to replace headgear than to buy a new helmet and once the helmet is fitted it will fit and feel like new. worth your money!
