I love these little locks, I've used them for a lot of things and haven't had any problems with them. Yes, they are inexpensive and the ability to change the combination is very convenient, so use them. I don't use them to protect my gold, just to make people look where they shouldn't be looking. A passionate burglar will of course break in, but if I want to avoid that then I have alarm systems and cameras to monitor these areas and expensive locking systems. These locks are mostly used outdoors and maybe I give them a squirt of WD-40 every few months or more and never had a break. My first set of locks came from a big store nearby that doesn't have them anymore, but I was able to find them here at Revain and order more. The reason I order more is because I needed more and only had to replace one of the original locks because the owner couldn't remember the combination and didn't want to call in front of a bunch of inspectors. to get the right combination, so he pretended the lock was broken and picked it himself.
