This adapter really works as intended. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done to improve the resolution, but it's not as good as a direct VGA connection. It's acceptable because it works and it's not too expensive. It requires USB power and the included USB cable is quite short (less than 30cm). So keep that in mind when ordering. I suppose if you need it you can get a USB extender for it. It also comes with an audio cable for the displays that have an audio output. Overall I needed this and it works for my needs so I'm not disappointed. I would give 5 stars if the resolution was better.
