Review on 🚀 Motorcraft PFB103 Fuel Pump Assembly: Superior Performance at its Best by Paul Barnes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Before starting work, familiarize yourself with the principle of “clamping the fuel lines”, which are connected to the fuel pump.

Used on 2015 stroke Ford F250. frame installed. Relatively easy to do. Take your time. My old pump was also noisy because of the engine light code. Low fuel pressure and loss of power. It started out quiet after the initial start of the ride, and then as it warmed up and drove for several hours, it got loud and gave out a code. Only 32,000 miles on the rig but sits unused in the shop. After the filter change it drove another 1300 miles and went through the code again which prompted me to change it? This new filter is an OEM replacement. It's quiet but it's new. I bet the pump is causing the code? Not always like that. Maybe the fuel pump sensor or something. There is no way the Ford service can check the fuel pressure without paying me $1 to put an adapter in the overhead fuel line so a pressure gauge can be installed. Instead I invested $ in a new fuel pump? The time will show. So far, so good. (Fill about 10 times with ignition on/off for 35-40 seconds each time before attempting to start engine after installation)
